What is an aluminum-plastic composite panel?

The aluminum-plastic composite board is made of a three-layer composite board made of coating, extrusion and bonding, and the middle layer is polyethylene. The surface is generally coated, mainly as a decorative material.

Aluminium plastic composite panel (Aluminum Plastic Composite Panel), referred to as Aluminum Composite Panel, refers to a three-layer composite sheet with plastic as the core layer and aluminum on both sides, and coated on the surface of the product with decorative and protective coating. A layer or film (commonly referred to as a coating unless otherwise noted) is used as a decorative surface for the product.

Appearance quality: The appearance of the curtain wall panel should be neat and tidy. The non-decorative surface does not affect the damage of the product. The appearance quality of the decorative surface should meet the relevant technical requirements.

Dimensional tolerance: The allowable deviation of the size of the curtain wall panel should meet the requirements of Table 2. The allowable deviation of the dimensions of the special specification can be agreed between the supplier and the buyer. The thickness of the aluminum of the curtain wall and the thickness of the coating shall comply with the requirements of Table 3. The performance of the curtain wall panel should meet the requirements of Table 4.

Fire performance requirements

According to the fire level, it is divided into ordinary type and fireproof type aluminum-plastic composite board. The national curtain wall standard has no special requirements for fireproof level for aluminum-plastic composite board products for building exterior wall.

(1) Ordinary aluminum-plastic composite board: Most of the aluminum-plastic composite panel products for exterior curtain wall and roofing on the market are of ordinary type.

The core layer of the common aluminum-plastic composite board is made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE), and the finished core layer is black.

(2) Flame-retardant aluminum-plastic composite panels are further classified into a flame retardant grade (C grade) and a quasi-combustible grade (B grade).

Class 1C fireproof aluminum-plastic composite board: using halogen-free low-smoke flame-retardant polyethylene core layer.

Class 2B fire-resistant aluminum-plastic composite board: the core layer is made of aluminum hydroxide as the main component (content is up to 90%), and the color is usually white or grayish white.
